Off the Coast of Egypt

Billy had joined the expedition only last month, one of several graduate students selected to assist. Officially it was his grades and experience with diving that had gotten him the job. Off the record he was told that the expedition's leader, Franck Goddio knew Shipwreck, and that he had also heard about Billy's experience with fighting off pirates on his previous expedition.
"But hopefully that skill set will not be needed." he'd joked.
They were looking for the wrecks of Napoleonic era ships that had been sunk during that man's attempt to conquer the world.
But when Billy's flashlight illuminated something else;

He knew they were onto something much, much bigger.
"Who ordered this?"
Now
"I can't believe we found an actual lost city." Billy said, still riding the high of discovery. Every moment he wasn't in the water, he was helping deal with the relics on ship, and feeling jealous of the people dealing with them on the dock.
Now he was taking a rare brake to skype with his family back home.
"Yeah who knew you'd peak before you even got your masters!" his sister grinned.
"I'm sent you a fedora!!" Anastasia said happily, while trying to keep her baby brother (now almost two) from key smashing and messing up the feed.
[Open for calls, texts, e-mails, the usual.]
