Astoria Oregon, Wednesday Night
Oct. 1st, 2014 09:27 pm"You're kidding."
Anastasia shook her head. "Nu'uh Mr. Outback Sir. Daddy saw them too." She was skyping with reserve Joe, an expert of Wilderness Survival. She'd had something very important to ask, and he seemed to be the man for the job. G.I. Joe had plenty of outdoorsy types, but most of those were more conversant with different parts of the world. Outback had spent enough time in the actual US wilderness, that they'd sought him out for this.
"Billy?" Outback didn't know Billy all that well. By reputation mostly. But that reputation said that he was a very level headed young man. So he was willing to trust that if Billy Kessler said they saw what they saw...
"Clear as day Outback. That was pretty much what I said too though, when Ana showed the tracks to me. But let's just say I've seen way to many weird things for me to discount it."
They had been hiking up in the mountains when they'd found it. As set of tracks crossing a patch of mud on and near the trail. A set of human-like footprints. But far too large for any human.
