"Please, let me explain." Spirit picked up his pace to catch up with him. Without thinking, he tried to grab the boy's arm, forgetting who it was trained him.

Billy twisted away and pointed an accusatory finger at the military Tracker. "I told Snake-Eyes, and I told Duke, and I'm telling you! I'm out! I'm done with it. I want nothing to do with that life." Except cloned children with the Baroness but he wasn't telling this guy about that."

"Snake-Eyes needs your help William." the Joe tried another tack.

"Duke, and your principal told me that time seems a little out of joint here, but back home it's been almost a decade since you came here. It took that long, but Cobra Commander's back, and he's ressurected Cobra, complete with most of the inner circle. Even Destro and the Baroness."

Billy said nothing, his expression did not change, save for a tightening of his jaw.

"They have Snake-Eyes and Scarlett. We know they're being held by Destro, but we don't know where. You know his organization, we need your help to save them. Please. I know you want to leave your past behind, but sometimes-"

Billy turned away. "You know nothing. You're a soldier, you chose that. I'm a pawn. When I couldn't be conned, I was brainwashed. By my own father. My own girlfriend doesn't feel safe with me because she's seen what that did to me. You, know, nothing."

Billy squeezed the bridge of his nose and then began walking towards the school. "Go back to the causeway Spirit. I'll...I'll catch up."

and billy's making a stop at the weapon's cabinet and then headed for the causeway. He'll be gone for about a week.
