"yeah that'd be good. mun does not remember what classes he has tomorrow How about after classes are done, just so we don't have a deadline?"

"Perfect! Want to meet me I'll set up a post there?"

"Yeah sounds good. I need to see more of the town anyway. I've been kinda hiding in the school."

"We'll get you unhidey and set up with all the school supplies you could need, promise!"

"Excellent." Billy smiled. "See you tomorrow."

Ami sent Billy a text message, on the theory that everyone's cell phone can do that.

"Hi! Guess what? I am starting a new club, and Professor Aziraphale is being the teacher adviser and do you want to help?"

In her excitement, Ami forgot to even mention what club it was.

Billy's new cell phone (the last one turned into a pie) beeped to let him know he had a text message.

Once he figured out how to A) read said message, and B) send one back, he texted her back saying

"Sounds interesting, tell me more."

"Chess club. Should be fun. I have to make posters!"

Billy had never quite mastered chess. "Interesting."

"Come by tomorrow, you can help me decide on posters." Ami was rather gland SMS was invented, texting someone was much much easier then calling them on the phone.

"What time?"

"Not 9-10 or 1-2 as i have class. Otherwise, whenever, i should be in my room doing homework."

Ami texted in the morning, before heading to the library. She hoped Billy was substantial enough to at least get his text messages.

"So you know how we planned to go off-island tonight and get fondue? I think i need to lock myself in the library and figure out what is going on instead, and how to fix it. and you, how to fix you So i think we should maybe reschedule?"

As a happy coincidence, Billy's phone had been left open on his desk. And so he did see the message. But he couldn't reply to it.

Ami sounded worried as she left he message. "Hey Billy. I heard on the radio that you had hurt yourself at the gym, are you alright? Anything i can do?"

"Hey Ami," Billy called her back rather late. "I'm okay, had a bit of an accident but I'm okay."

Since it was late, ami was asleep and not picking up her her phone. When she got the message she frowned worriedly and called back. "I think i would like to verify your okayness personally. Want to go to JGOB and get some breakfast together?"

"Yeah that sounds good." he agreed before realizing that long distance travel like that might be a bit difficult at the moment. But he wasn't going to take it back. He'd manage.

Saturday after detention, Ami called. "Hey. There are charades in the common room today. I am going, want to come too?" She had figured that one aught to invite one's boyfriend to one's activities.
