The Great American Road Trip! Part 4: Tennessee/North Carolina

At the southern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway lie two towns of mark. Gatlinburg TN, and Cherokee NC. One, full of fun touristy things, the other full of culture and history. Both worth a visit.

[As usual, this post is open for everyone, whether you're on the whole trip or just this'n. I have been to both these places, and they really are both worth a visit.]

So much to do! There's a Ripley's Aquarium, a wax museum, a haunted house, look I can't list everything that's why there's a link up there.

Cherokee NC

Billy's friend Spirit may not be Cherokee though his PB is, but he's opted to come join the group on this this bit of the journey anyway. Between the recreated village, the museum, and numerous other attractions, you're sure to find something to interest you.

I actually just tried to find out what Nation Spirit was from. He's got his hair in braids in the old comics, which I think (correct me if I'm wrong but be nice about it) was a Sioux custom, but he's from Taos NM which I think might be more Pueblo territory.

I'm over thinking this aren't I.
