ooc: How Billy's Fake Leg Works
Feb. 16th, 2007 06:18 pmJust to keep it strait in my head mostly.
Billy's prosthetic leg is constructed of a mixture of Iron, Steel and Titanium. It is molded to look just like a regular leg with joints allowing the usual articulation of a real leg. It is connected to Billy's thigh by use of several straps that wind around his thigh, and his waist.
The top of the leg is fitted with several small electrodes looking like dull metal spikes that are positioned to correspond to each of Billy's nerve endings, thus allowing for complete freedom of movement. The electrodes are padded but his thigh is nevertheless heavily calloused at the end.
