One of the countless secret cameras scattered around the city of Alexandria had taken a picture at a restaurant. A picture, that despite the eyepatch was strikingly familiar.
"Isn't Agent Kessler supposed to be in Alaska?" Mainframe asked.
"...Yes." Hawk's scowl deepened. "I want Agent's Hauser and O'Hara on the line in my office in five minutes." he ordered. "And send someone to bring in Agent Kessler."
"That won't be easy sir, he's one of Snake-Eyes' best students."
"I didn't ask if it was going to be easy. Just do it."
"Yes sir."
The weather was too nice to eat indoors, so he took a table outside at the cafe. He'd initiated the protocols to contact Destro. It was something he never thought he'd do, but given certain visitations, he thought it'd be prudent to at least know where to find the arms dealer, and more importantly, his lady love, when the time came.
And if push came to shove, he'd even be prepared to admit that he missed the shady pair. Later he'd stop by his broker's office to see how his investments were doing.
"Nice disguise. Real smooth."

Billy started at the unexpected, but familiar voice. "Lady Jaye? The hell are you doing here?" he asked.
"Some folks would like to ask you the same thing." she smirked. "And honestly, an eyepatch? Did you think that was going to fool anyone? At least a beard would have shown some effort."
"Okay...what?" Had Gremlins gotten off the island?
"Nevermind. Just come with me. Please."
"I told Duke, I'm done with all of you. I just want to be left alone."
"Did you now? And you thought that'd be the end of it? You're even stupider than I thought. Come along quietly please, I'd hate to make a scene."
Okay this was seriously weird and not in a good way. "Can I at least finish my food? I just ordered."
She snickered at that. "I'll have someone box it up for you. Let's go." She laid a not very gentle hand on his arm. "Now."
The move was so quick that she didn't have time to counter it. Next thing she knew, she was hitting, and rolling off the table to the ground. Damn, he was good. Good thing they were prepared for this.
"He's on the move!" she shouted into her wrist communicator.
As Billy sprinted down the street, he tried to figure out what was going on. He figured the best thing to do get back to the causeway. He could figure this out from there.
The squealing of tires alerted him to the black sedan as it lurched out of an alleyway in front of him.
A spook pointed a gun out the open window. "Agent Kessler! Stand down!"
Billy stored that 'Agent Kessler' bit in his WTF file, and leaped up, grabbing onto the roof of the car for leverage, he smashed both feet into the face of the armed spook, knocking him into his partner in the driver's seat. Quickly, he opened the door from the inside and rolled out, dashing into the alley and heading up the fire escape.
*spang!* a bullet hit his prosthetic and ricocheted off, chipping the brick wall. This was obviously very serious.
As he reached the roof, a foot came out of nowhere, bashing into his jaw, and nearly sent him off the ladder.
"The hell?"

He dodged her next strike and swung up onto the roof. "Look I don't know what's going on," he said. "But I don't want to hurt you."
An elbow to the throat shut him up. "Yeah but you still love it when I hurt you don't you." she smirked, even as she had to block a punch.
"You don't want to hurt me, and I have to take you in." she said. "Good thing for both of us then that I was always better than you.
The duel was particularly one sided, as Billy was doing his best not to hurt her, and run. While she was mercilessly trying to take him down. When it was over, she was tired, and in pain from the blows he'd landed. He was in slightly worse shape.
"Damn." she panted, popping her shoulder back into place. "You got better."
Of course he couldn't hear that due to a case of unconsious.
nfb due to distance, and no interaction for the same reason.
