It was cold. Enough so that Billy was glad that the majority of things to do here were indoor activities.

"So, we've got the Aquarium, the Science Center, shops, what do you want to do first?" he asked Naomi.

"How about the Science Center?" Naomi suggested as she looked around.

"Sounds good." he said. "I think it's this way. I've never actually been there yet."

Despite the cloudy, chilly weather, it was rather nice to walk along.

"There it is."

"It should be pretty interesting," Naomi said.

Billy looked at the directory and nodded, impressed. "Yeah I'd say so." Between the IMAX theater, and the various exhibits, it was hard to decide where to start. "Want to start with the Space exhibit?"

"The space exhibit sounds good," Naomi nodded.

"Just try not to laugh at our primitive knowledge."

"I'll try not to," Naomi smiled.

Billy himself found that the images of Earth from space were slightly less fascinating now that he'd seen it for real. "What was it like, seeing Earth for the first time?"

"I had a mixed feeling about it," she admitted, "I had seen images of it before but seeing it for real...I guess it was because it meant that I had to leave Voyager,"

"Yeah that makes sense. "I remember tagging along with one of the science classes when they went on a field trip out into the system. It was really cool to see it like that. It looked peaceful."

"I've seen the view of Earth from space a couple of times since I've been at Fandom," Naomi said, "it looks quite different from how it is back home though,"

"What's it look like in your time? More lights? Sky more crowded?"

"There's some areas that look different geographically," Naomi said.

"There are? What happened?"

"Some areas have disappeared under water," Naomi said, "one of the areas was Los Angeles, which sank 200 metres under water during an Earthquake in 2047,"

"Oh, man that sucks. More for me than for you 'cause that was, what, a hundred years before you were born? 200?"

"It took place over a few hundred years ago before I was born," Naomi replied, "but there's no guarantee that it will happen in any other universe just because it happened in mine,"

"Yeah, good point. Though from what it sounds like I wouldn't mind your future."

"I have to admit that compared to other universes my one turned out pretty good,"

"It makes what's going on now a little easier to deal with if I can think that maybe when it's over things will be better."

"That's a good outlook to have,"

"It's a fairly new one for me. Started about the time I met my kids I think."

"Your kids?"

"Oh, yeah remember that weekend when a bunch of possible future kids showed up?"

Naomi nodded, "yeah I remember that weekend,"

"Two of them were mine. So, I'm kinda hoping that future comes to pass."

"It sounds like it was a good future,"

"So yeah, like I said, hope for the future, blah blah blah. Wanna go look at something slightly less existential?"

Naomi nodded, "what do you want to look at?"

"How about one of the IMAX shows?"

"That should be good," Naomi said.

"How about the Whales? I like whales."
