Room 405, Tuesday Late Afternoon

"You've got to be kidding me!" Billy exclaimed.
"Look if it were up to me you wouldn't even be discharged yet." Lifeline said, his tone that of practiced authority. "But you insisted you needed to get back to school, and this is the condition. I don't want you straining yourself-"
"What, like walking?"
"Yes. Right now you're on thin ice in terms of not tearing your stitches. You need this for a week. And it'll be another month before you're ready to jump around like you ninjas like to do."
Billy and Lifeline glared at each other for a moment.
"It's this or have someone bring you your homework." the medic insisted."
Billy hadn't even known if the school was handicapped accessible. Apparently it was. "Anemone was right." Billy grumbled, maneuvering the motorized wheelchair into his room. "All doctors are evil."
[Billy's in a wheelchair for a week, but he's back. The post is open, as is the door.]
