l1ttle_billyOnce he knew that his room mate was a spy, it became fairly easy to ditch him. And then it hadn't been to hard to get to New York. The hard part had been sneaking into the World Court Headquarters. Naturally Snake-Eyes spotted him.
"I'm just here to watch." he assured his old friend. Snake didn't seem entirely convinced, but he didn't press the issue.
"If this investigation continues," Destro said, defending himself in front of the entire United Nations. "I will be honor bound to cooperate fully." Why did his tone have that threatening sound? "In which all of the countries represented in this room, who are on my client list, will be exposed."
Billy had to cover his mouth to keep from snickering.
"However, I believe I can offer a compromise. In exchange for clemency, I am prepared to deliver to the authorities, the Most Wanted man on the Globe. I will give you Cobra Commander."
Billy's gasp was fortunately covered by those of the rest of the room. Was this why Destro had quit Cobra again? And why the Baroness had stayed? What were they up to?
