Blissfully ignorant of anything he may have done in an Alternate Universe, Billy sat in deep meditation in Storm Shadow's dojo by the sea. So deep in fact that he didn't stir when Annette, his pet skunk came in looking for her human.

She came over to him and pawed at his leg. When he didn't react, she clambered into his lap and stretched up to sniff his face. Still nothing. Mentally shrugging, she settled back and did her own version of meditating.

Neither noticed when Billy's sister took a picture of the pair of them. Christmas Card photo!

Billy came out of his meditation to find a baby skunk asleep in his lap. That meant he couldn't get up yet, so he took the opportunity to check his messages.

He texted John back: What's up?

Yes. Walking talking robots that look like men. They're very hard to kill. Like, smash them with a truck and they get back up hard to kill. If you see any, run.

It may. Just remember that it can use any weaponry that we can use and then some. Ever see a guy walking around with a gunship chaingun like it was a toy pistol? Yeah.

Hmm, Roadblock's close but not quite that strong I don't think. Also he's a gourmet chef and I can't quite see a robot doing that.

I don't think they eat. Could probably download a cooking program, though. No clue if they have tastebuds. Been too busy to ask one.

Actually, they did; they made a lot of messes, scraps littered everywhere. John was on his fifth toaster this month.
