"Okay." Billy said, slightly distracted by being in the midst of the Redwoods. This was the closest he'd ever gotten to a religious experience. And he'd met an actual Angel.

"So, we've only got a month left before I gotta go back to school, and we've reached a crossroads."

"Meaning?" Zanya asked.

"Should we continue up north, I'm thinking all the way to Alaska, or cut east?"

"East. In theory, I have to be at work sometime this week. In reality, work is wherever my laptop, me, and an internet connection are, that's me at work."

He grinned. "Big Mac attack?"

"Those new angus burgers are pretty good too."

"Haven't tried one of those. I think we should. Now." John's stomach started growling.

So did Billy's Mun's. "Agreed. To the Mobile!"

"Shotgun," John called, already pulling his netbook out of his backpack to try to find the closest one.

"You tried those smoothies?" he asked. "Back from when I'm from, there wasn't this fancy coffee crap. Kids these days," he said as the mun assumed they were in recent modernish times if they have the Angus.

Zanya got a vaguely exstatic look on her face. "Only place better for the mocha frappes is Wawa."

They are. I had Billy do a time catch-up a year or so ago.

"The hell's that?" John asked as the mun has no idea and is resisting the urge for some fries.

"It's a chain of convenience stores on the east coast." Zanya explained. As a biker she was well acquainted with such establishments.

Mun went and ate and is now not jonsing as much for such things. But Wawa's mocha frappes are soo damn good.
