Billy opened the door to his room and stepped inside. Not bad. He'd slept in worse.

He tossed his bag on the bed by the window, liking the escape route that offered as well as having a clear shot to the door. He hoped Schrodinger didn't mind.

for the room mate, or anyone else.

"Oh, I see you alread got a bed," Schrodinger said from behind Billy.

Billy was not easy to sneak up on. Still, he managed to not jump at the sudden appearance of his roommate. He chalked the sneaking up to the guy being part cat.

"Yeah, did you want that one?"

Shcrodinger shrugged. "We're on the wrong side of the building to get the sun so I don't really care."

Billy nodded. "Okay then." Something occured to him.

"If you're part cat do you still take showers?"

"'Course. Hygeine is very important, both mental and physical," Shcrodinger rattled off. "What, did you think I cleaned myself with my tongue?"

"Well no, I just thought that, since cats traditionally don't like water..."

Schrodigner rolled his eyes. "Nah. That's more a vampire thing. Cats don't like water because they have thick fur that his tough to dry. I don't have any fur."
