Tori had heard Lana's voice as well, following Conner, using her ninja speed to keep up with him.

"Hang on, Lana. We're coming." Tori whispered, ready to dispose of the aliens.

The scientist looked towards the doorway in annoyance. What was going on out there?

Lana heard Conner's voice, or at least thought she did. "Conner!" she screamed. "I'm here!" Maybe it wasn't him, but maybe it was someone who could help her. She wanted to struggle, but couldn't overcome the drugs that paralyzed her.

Conner glanced at Tori, and brought his sword up. "C'mon," he said, and kicked in the super-speed again to charge through the doorway.

Tori was right behind him, charging through the doorway.

Slowing to a stop, Tori took in the sight before her and immediately took to forming a swirl of water in her hands, ready to blast the alien into oblivion.

The Alien saw something, though it was moving too fast to tell just what.

Then there was a human in the doorway. It jerked back in alarm. It was loose!

Lana caught movement out of the corner of her eye, but couldn't turn her head to see. "Somebody? Help me?"

Conner flanked the alien from the opposite side from Tori and brought his sword down sideways at hip level as he charged it. "Hang on, Lana, I'll be right there!"

Tori fired a blast of water at the alien, helping Conner to bring it down.

There was much anger and sadness behind Tori's attack, especially when she thought of what had been done to her and the others.

With a screech, the Alien Scientist went down.

Lana screamed again as the Alien landed partially on top of her.

"Oh, gross," Conner said automatically. Dropping the sword, he knelt down and tried to tug the dead alien away. It was slow going, because he had to keep fighting down the urge to gag, and possibly vomit.

Tori cringed, fighting the sick feeling in her stomach. The images of her abduction flashed in her head and she shook her head, making them disappear.

"Lana, it's okay. We're getting you out of here." Tori spoke, hoping to reassure her.

"Can't move," Lana whispered, her throat raw from all the screaming. "Help me, please."

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!" Conner was having a hard time finding traction for his feet as he shoved at the bulk of the dead alien, what with gooey dead-alien ichor and the water from Tori's attacks all over the floor. If he wasn't so concerned with getting the stupid thing off Lana, he'd be embarrassed by the difficulty.

. . . hed be embarrassed by it later, anyway.

It took a couple of undignified slips and falls onto his rear end before he finally succeeded in freeing Lana. "Oh, geez," he groaned, taking in her wounds, then scooping her up into his arms. "Tori, I'm gonna go find Shawn, get her some help, okay?"
