His week had been interesting. Learning to fly a plane, blind-fighting practice with River, sparring with Setsuna, pretending to be a Dreadknock, not to mention getting info on Vampires and Werewolves.

Which is not to say that that weeks lessons on The Trojan War, The Scottish Play, Hinduism or salsa were slouches. And he really had fun with that Sim Earth game.

He was having fun here. The clubs, Archeology, Damn the Man and the others...

But he still wasn’t certain about this school.

Billy had no idea why he was writing a letter to a person that he had no idea where was, or even had any intention of actually contacting. He just was.

Even ninjas get stomach bugs. Billy was right now wishing his father had killed him when he'd gotten the chance.

Time for a new exercise. Bracing his hands and feet against the walls, he managed to wedge himself up against the ceiling. Now, how long could he stay up there?

Storm Shadow had taught him a good trick about how to do something like this for an extended period of time. Not think about it. Therefore, he let his mind wander.

So far, so good. He was still up there.

ooc: open to passerby.

Billy sat on a ledge just outside his window, munching on chicken tenders and french fries he'd handwavily gotten from the Cafeteria. He also had a notebook on his lap, in which he was writing.

Dear Mom )

content of letter is nfb, other than that, no worries.

Billy's throat was extremely dry and scratchy that morning. Was he catching a cold? Or was it because of the horrendous fruit juice he'd gotten at Caritas? He doubted he'd be going there again anytime soon.

door is knockable

Billy sat with the windo open, half in, half out, looking out over the grounds. It had been an interesting week again. He was starting to feel more comfortable, if still a bit uneasy and out of place. He still was not used to kids his own age. Pretty much all his life he'd been surrounded by Adults.

He liked his classes though. Mythology seemed like one of the most interesting, and he rather liked the Religion professor. A preacher who thought that God was a bastard? Genius. Dance...he still wasn't sure of, he'd felt especially awkward there. Lit seemed like a great excuse to actually read. Something he hadn't had many opportunities to do. And Astronomy was nice so far. He liked that there was an observatory of sorts available.

As for his fellow students...Willow was a joy. As was Blair. For the most part they all seemed nice, even if Joxer might be a bit misguided. He wanted to spar with him though. Sure the guy seemed rather full of himself, but how many opportunities do you get to see Anchient Greek fighting styles? Ever? He kind of wanted to know if Pete could do that quick draw thing that he'd heard cowboys could do. The whole doubles thing kinda creeped him out, even if said doubles themselves didn't act creepy, which was good.

His thoughts went back to Joxer, and his advice, which the Pirate on the radio did not concur on. Billy had no clue about girls. Beyond his secret crush on the Baroness and Jinx, he'd never really given it much thought. The girls he'd met here so far seemed nice, and were pretty, but he had no clue if they were his type. If he had one. And he doubted he was their's.

Then there were the aliens. Luke, Cally, Naomi, maybe more. It didn't surprise him that there were Aliens. What did surprise him was that they'd look anything like Humans. At least Naomi had horns.

open to all! Specially the roomie naturally.

Billy stripped off his shirt and pants, sitting on the edge of the bed in just his boxers. Carefully, he undid the straps holding his prosthetic leg in place, removing it gingerly, before setting it beside his bed.

Then, sitting up strait, his remaining leg tucked underneath him, he closed his eyes and began to breathe rhythmically. He'd found in recent years that a bit of meditation before bed helped him sleep.

doors closed but knockable. Open to all, specially roomie

Billy opened the door to his room and stepped inside. Not bad. He'd slept in worse.

He tossed his bag on the bed by the window, liking the escape route that offered as well as having a clear shot to the door. He hoped Schrodinger didn't mind.

for the room mate, or anyone else.
