Billy sat with the windo open, half in, half out, looking out over the grounds. It had been an interesting week again. He was starting to feel more comfortable, if still a bit uneasy and out of place. He still was not used to kids his own age. Pretty much all his life he'd been surrounded by Adults.
He liked his classes though.
Mythology seemed like one of the most interesting, and he rather liked the
Religion professor. A preacher who thought that God was a bastard? Genius.
Dance...he still wasn't sure of, he'd felt especially awkward there.
Lit seemed like a great excuse to actually read. Something he
hadn't had many opportunities to do. And
Astronomy was nice so far. He liked that there was an
observatory of sorts available.
As for his fellow
students...
Willow was a joy. As was
Blair. For the most part they all seemed nice, even if Joxer might be a bit misguided. He wanted to spar with him though. Sure the guy seemed rather full of himself, but how many opportunities do you get to see Anchient Greek fighting styles? Ever? He kind of wanted to know if
Pete could do that quick draw thing that he'd heard cowboys could do. The whole
doubles thing kinda creeped him out, even if said
doubles themselves didn't act creepy, which was good.
His thoughts went back to
Joxer, and his advice, which the
Pirate on the radio did not concur on. Billy had no clue about girls. Beyond his secret crush on the Baroness and Jinx, he'd never really given it much thought. The girls he'd met here so far seemed
nice, and
were pretty, but he had no clue if they were his type. If he had one. And he doubted he was their's.
Then there were the aliens.
Luke,
Cally,
Naomi, maybe more. It didn't surprise him that there were Aliens. What did surprise him was that they'd look anything like Humans. At least Naomi had horns.
open to all! Specially the roomie naturally.
